Job summary

Corvant is hiring a Data Center Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical infrastructure in data center environments. You will handle mechanical and cooling systems, support equipment startup, and ensure continuous uptime.

Travel to sites may be required to support mission-critical facilities. Ideal candidates have 5+ years with mechanical and cooling systems, OSHA 10 and EPA qualifications preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Excellent ability to follow and communicate instructions in writing and verbally.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems supporting data center operations.
• Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of cooling and mechanical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance, service, and troubleshooting tasks safely in a data center or mission-critical environment.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair critical infrastructure systems including cooling systems, CRAC/CRAH units, chilled water systems, pumps, and supporting mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on data center mechanical and environmental systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to cooling systems, air distribution, temperature control, and equipment performance.
• Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new mechanical and cooling equipment within data center environments.
• Respond to service calls and perform repairs on critical systems to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians in the field.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance as required.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and operational standards within mission-critical facilities.
• Obtain an NCCER Performance Evaluator credential and support learning and development in the field.
