Job summary

Continental Electrical Construction is seeking an experienced electrical Project Manager to lead data center construction projects from bidding to completion. You will outline tasks, create timelines, manage costs, mitigate risks, and foster strong client relationships across departments and with site supervision, general contractors, and inspectors.

Based in Oak Brook with opportunities to oversee Chicagoland locations or travel to remote Midwest sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 3–7+ years in project management in electrical construction.
• 2+ years managing large electrical construction projects >$5 million.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong estimation and forecasting of materials and labor.
• Proven track record meeting KPIs and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall schedule, milestones, and change orders; track materials and billing.
• Maintain large customer relationships and oversee $1-2 million new business annually.
• Determine materials take-offs and review project scope.
• Visit job sites and coordinate subcontractors.
• Mentor less senior PMs and manage project financials.
