Job summary

SNIPEBRIDGE is seeking an MEP Engineer to design and coordinate building systems for reliable, high-density technical environments within the data center-focused sector. You will work across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and integrated MEP disciplines with architects, structural, and commissioning teams.

The role emphasizes adherence to codes, efficient energy use, and clear communication of design decisions to stakeholders. A strong background in Revit and professional licensure is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Architectural Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of MEP design experience for complex buildings or industrial facilities.
• EIT required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency in Revit and related analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Develop MEP system concepts, calculations, equipment selections, layouts, specifications, and construction documents.
• Evaluate capacity, redundancy, maintainability, efficiency, and future expansion requirements.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, fire-protection, and life-safety interfaces.
• Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, value analysis, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Review submittals, answer RFIs, perform site observations, and support testing and commissioning.
• Work with utilities, equipment manufacturers, contractors, and owner teams to resolve technical issues.
• Apply current codes, standards, and project-specific reliability criteria.
• Prepare clear technical reports and communicate design decisions to project stakeholders.
