Job summary

Cologix, Inc. is looking for a skilled Data Center Electrician to oversee the electrical systems in our Columbus, Ohio facility. This role is critical for maintaining uptime and ensuring safety within our mission-critical environment where you will manage power delivery and infrastructure upkeep.

With strong expertise in electrical systems, especially UPS and generators, you will lead technical responses during outages, maintain compliance with safety standards, and validate the performance of electrical installations. You'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly each day.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrician or equivalent electrical certification required.
• 5+ years of experience working with electrical systems in mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, including UPS and generators.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure including UPS systems, switchgear, and generators.
• Install and modify AC and DC power circuits to customer equipment complying with site standards.
• Lead electrical troubleshooting and corrective repair during incidents or outages.

Skills

Hands-on experience with electrical systems in data centers

Troubleshooting complex electrical issues

Knowledge of electrical safety practices

Experience working with vendors

Attention to detail in documentation

Education

Licensed Electrician or equivalent certification

5+ years’ experience with electrical systems

Tools
