Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States (OH) is seeking a Facilities Controls Technician to maintain and optimize BMS and EPMS across AWS data centers.

You will troubleshoot and tune industrial control systems, mentor team members, and manage projects, while ensuring safety and operational reliability. The role requires experience with low voltage controls, electrical schematics, and field devices, with a willingness to work non-standard shifts and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade certification in a technical field with 4+ years’ industrial controls experience, or 6+ years without a degree.
• Strong understanding of industrial controls, meters, sensors, relays and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with low voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, and field devices.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team on BMS/EPMS operation and controls.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain BMS/EPMS hardware and software.
• Manage small to medium projects and coordinate with vendors.
