Job summary

BOAB Ventures in McLean, VA seeks a Cyber Security Project Engineer to drive systems through the Sponsor's A&A process to obtain an Authority to Operate. You will design secure cloud infrastructure and lead security briefings for approvals, ensuring data integrity and secure transfers across networks.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ FSP Security Clearance (required for Sponsor mission).
• Experience coordinating with multiple orgs to achieve/maintain ATO status (ICD 503/A&A).
• Hands-on experience designing secure infrastructure within public cloud environments.
• Ability to develop system design diagrams and briefings for security approvals.
• Background in addressing security controls and secure data transfers.
• Experience in technical triaging and resolving infrastructure-level issues.

Responsibilities

• Shepherd projects through the A&A process, ensuring ICD 503 documentation is complete.
• Design and implement secure cloud-hosted infrastructure for mobile/applications.
• Mitigate system security controls and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop diagrams and briefings to secure operational approvals.
• Oversee secure data transfer and integrity across networks.
• Triage and troubleshoot complex system issues to maintain security posture.
