Job summary

Independent Software is actively seeking a Configuration Manager / Tools Engineer to join our Annapolis Junction team. You will support automation, integration, and management of software productivity and configuration tools across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include tool installation, configuration, scripting, and maintaining ClearCase/ClearQuest environments, with collaboration across engineering and infrastructure teams to meet mission requirements. A TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant discipline preferred.
• Ten years of combined software/engineering experience required; substitutions allowed.
• Six years of Tools Engineer experience in similar contracts is required.
• Experience with enterprise productivity and configuration management tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support selection and deployment of software productivity and configuration tools.
• Install, configure, customize, administer, and upgrade enterprise tools and infrastructure.
• Maintain ClearCase and ClearQuest environments and perform upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Develop automation scripts and maintain documentation for tools and processes.
• Collaborate across engineering and infrastructure teams to integrate tools into workflows.
