Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. seeks a Commissioning Agent to join our Mission Critical Market Space.

You will lead and support commissioning efforts for data center projects, guiding systems from design through validation while focusing on reliability, energy efficiency, and safe operation. You’ll collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team across multiple states, travel as needed, and advance commissioning standards with tools like CxAlloy and BIM360.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
Technical or Associate degree in a technical field or commensurate design/construction experience.
Solid understanding of building systems across design disciplines, especially power, cooling, and controls.
Ability to interpret guidelines, standards, and best practices for data center construction.
Proficiency with business and cloud-based tools such as Word, Excel, CxAlloy, BIM360/ACCBuild.

Responsibilities

Resolve commissioning challenges and deliver the Level 1–5 deliverables per OPR/BOD and specs.
Oversee and perform field quality observations and testing.
Collaborate with Owners, Contractors, and Engineers to drive effective solutions.
