Blackstone Talent Group seeks a Cloud Engineer to join our Client's team supporting missile defense initiatives. You will design, implement, and sustain cloud environments for critical space defense systems, including security-focused architectures for government workloads.

Strong DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and Linux experience are essential. The role requires DoD 8570 (Sec+) within 60 days and an active DoW Secret clearance or higher.

Competenze

• Must have 1+ years of general full-time work experience.
• Must have 1+ years of directly related cloud engineering experience.
• Must understand cloud infrastructure components including compute, network, and storage.
• Must be familiar with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform.
• Must have experience in a Linux computing environment.
• Must understand compute, networking, storage, and DevSecOps.
• Must meet DoD 8570 certification requirements (e.g. Sec+) within 60 days of hire.
• Must have an active DoW Secret (or higher) Security Clearance.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, troubleshoot, and sustain cloud environments for the Missile Defense Space Center.
• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures (VCF 9.0, AWS GovCloud, Azure for US Government) for enterprise workloads.
• Implement cloud-based solutions across IT problem space, including compute, storage, networking, software development, and DevSecOps.
• Work with system engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions.
• Leverage strong communication and collaboration skills to ensure integration and compliance across cybersecurity, DevSecOps, sustainment, and application delivery teams.
• Develop and implement automation to expand the platform's self-service consumption model, enabling faster and more efficient resource provisioning for consumers.
• Be a strong innovator in process improvement and system design.
• Be able to quickly learn challenging concepts, decompose difficult service problems and provide resolution.
• Be able to create and follow standard processes and clearly document results.
• Effectively function as self-starter and identify risks, issues, and opportunities to leadership.
• Have excellent presentation, oral and written skills to facilitate effective and efficient interchanges with senior customer management and customers.
