Job summary

ESFM on behalf of Compass Group USA seeks a Chief Engineer for on-site leadership focusing on electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. The role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring uptime and compliance, with hands-on oversight and team management.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 3:00PM–11:30PM Local Time (2nd Shift), reporting to client stakeholders and driving continuous improvement for uptime, efficiency, and sustainability in a high‑reliability environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in facility engineering or mission-critical environments.
• Experience leading engineering teams or site operations.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, electrical, and plumbing; data center familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of IFM hard services delivery across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and critical infrastructure systems.
• Direct, manage, and develop a team of building engineers, technicians, and specialty contractors; establish clear roles and shift coverage.
• Lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for mechanical systems.
• Ensure reliable 24/7 operation of mission-critical systems through preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Own site-level KPIs, SLAs, and compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, OEM coordination, and third-party service providers.
