Job summary

AnaVation LLC, based near Fort Belvoir, VA, seeks a Budget Analyst to support a U.S. Army program. The ideal candidate will manage budget planning/execution, utilize Excel and Power BI, and coordinate with program officials to align financial plans with mission goals.

Responsibilities include data-driven analyses, reporting, and guiding leadership on resource allocation. A Secret Clearance is required, with experience in government funding and RDTE/OMA/OPA budgets.

Qualifications

• Secret Security Clearance
• 5 years of budget planning and execution experience
• Experience with Government accounting systems (GFEBS, FIRE, LMP, WAWF, SDW, DTS)
• 5 years in requirements definition, work planning, budget control and communications with program officials
• Experience creating WBS and obligations/reimbursable contracts (PO)

Responsibilities

• Track and analyze project financial processes to inform strategy
• Participate in team meetings and joint communications involving financial impacts
• Support financial aspects of multiple projects
• Work independently with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver products/services
• Serve as analyst for short- and long-term planning
• Use Power BI, Pyramid Analytics, and related tools to analyze data
• Prepare status reports focusing on consult volumes, timeliness, and backlogs
• Provide data-driven insights for leadership on priorities and resources
• Perform budget analysis of high-visibility programs and legislative changes
• Provide financial management guidance in line with regulations
