Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Two years of US Armed Forces service or security experience, or a combination thereof.
• Associate's degree in Security, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• Police officer basic training completed.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to pass background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed security services for government facilities, personnel and assets.
• Perform access control and traffic control per procedures.
• Conduct walking and motorized patrols to deter threats.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies and incidents.
• Inspect personnel, vehicles, buildings and facilities.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior and safety concerns.
• Document incidents and activities in reports and logs.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors.
