Job summary

SpaceX in Memphis is seeking an Application Software Engineer to join our on-site team building mission-critical applications that accelerate SpaceX's manufacturing and Starlink operations.

You will own full software engineering efforts, create reliable systems, and collaborate across teams to design, implement, and deploy software that supports launches, Starship prototypes, and a global satellite network. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and a passion for bold missions are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline, or 2+ years of software experience.
• 1+ years of full stack development experience.
• Experience with modern software design and testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications to improve SpaceX operations.
• Build prototypes to prove key design concepts and constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into user problems to craft efficient solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design discussions, and code reviews.
