Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Audio/Visual Systems Engineer to support the U.S. Air Force Warfare Center at Nellis, NV.

You will work on enterprise A/V infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-visibility meeting support within a controlled government environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with DSPs, Dante, Crestron/Extron/QSC, and A/V-over-IP networks, plus a TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; or 0 years with Master’s in related field.
  • Candidate must have DoD 8140 IA baseline qualifications or higher.
  • Experience with signal routing and timing in mixed digital environments.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and deploying Dante-enabled devices.
  • Familiarity with secure hardware integration in compartmentalized networks and SCIF environments.
  • Active Top Secret clearance within the last 24 months and ability to obtain DoD TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

  • Apply knowledge of A/V systems including DSPs, microphones, speakers, LED walls, video conf, and control systems (Crestron, Extron, QSC).
  • Perform end-to-end signal flow diagnostics and minimize downtime.
  • Support live events, briefings, town halls, and real-time scenarios with zero-failure A/V execution.
  • Maintain A/V-over-IP deployments including Evertz, Dante, on multicast and VLAN networks.
  • Use basic networking tools and remote diagnostics for system control.
  • Communicate technical issues clearly to users and leadership.
  • Maintain diagrams and asset inventories with precision.
  • Adhere to DoD cybersecurity policies.
