Work Hours: PRN (as needed) Rotating Shifts

Qualifications

Here’s What You Need:

Education: H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.

Experience:

  • 6 Months related experience Preferred.
  • 6 Months customer service Preferred.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required.

Skills:

  • Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude.
  • Excellent verbal communication.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.
  • Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; advanced computer skills; time management.

What You Will Do:

  • Transport patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas.
  • Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services, and other supporting items throughout the hospital.
  • Maintain par levels and clean equipment in designated areas.
  • Act as central dispatcher for Mission Control department.
  • Monitor systems: RTLS, security cameras, HUGS, fire panel, generator annunciator, medical gas, and other systems associated with patient and materials movement.
  • Secure necessary maintenance and repair of equipment and maintain adequate stock levels of supplies. May assist with inventory and ordering rental equipment, furniture, and/or supplies for Mission Control.
  • Adhere to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy.
  • Willingly accept additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership.
  • Assist patients in dressing appropriately for procedures.
  • Deliver patient concierge services.
