Job summary

True Anomaly seeks a Principal Mission Cloud Engineer to architect and manage multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure for high‑security government programs. The role involves designing networks, IAM, and security controls across IL-4–IL-6+ environments, with a Secret clearance and TS/SCI eligibility.

Collaboration with security teams and on‑site execution are required. The position requires hands‑on cloud engineering, government standards adherence, and experience delivering compliant

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years in cloud engineering or infrastructure
• Experience architecting AWS and Azure at scale in DoD environments
• DoD 8140 IAT Level III certification required
• Experience designing and deploying IL-4/IL-5/IL-6+ cloud infra
• Strong knowledge of cloud security controls and RMF
• Translate security requirements into infrastructure solutions

Responsibilities

• Architect and build AWS and Azure cloud networks across IL-4/IL-5/IL-6+ environments
• Design and implement multi-cloud infrastructure across platforms and domains
• Collaborate with security engineers to meet program requirements and compliance
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and tooling for multiple USG programs
• Design IAM frameworks and least-privilege access models
• Support RMF/ATO processes and NSS frameworks
