Job summary

Benz Technology seeks a software engineer to design and maintain cloud-native solutions on AWS for a mission-focused test and evaluation team at Fort Meade.

You will build scalable systems using AWS managed services, integrate Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and SQS, and work with teammates to support workflows across the development lifecycle.

Active TS/SCI clearance is required; Benz Technology cannot sponsor clearances; U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development experience in AWS.
• Experience with AWS managed services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and SQS.
• AWS certification (Developer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications using AWS managed services.
• Build and maintain cloud-native solutions optimized for scalability and performance.
• Integrate AWS services such as Lambda, S3, RDS, and others into application architectures.
• Collaborate with team members to support mission test and evaluation workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the development and deployment lifecycle.
• Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
