Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Mission Assurance Quality Assurance Lead in Elkridge, MD. You will perform receiving and final inspections, review sub-assemblies for defects, and interface with manufacturing and engineering to improve processes.

Requirements include a high school diploma with 6 years in defense quality/inspection, experience using SAP and CADSTAR, and the ability to obtain a US Secret clearance. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 6 years in Defense Industry, Quality, Inspection, Shipping or Manufacturing.
• Experience using SAP and CADSTAR to review engineering drawings.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspections and final kit inspections per QAD.
• Inspect sub-assemblies and systems; identify defects and interface with manufacturing and engineering.
• Support ISO audits and shipping paperwork; interface with government and customers.
• Act as Quality Process Control Aide in AS-9100 environment.
