Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 6 years of professional experience, OR PhD with 4 years.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
  • Prior Aerospace experience with rocket motor design, manufacturing and/or quality.
  • Strong working knowledge of Quality and Safety policies, procedures and processes.
  • Ability to craft solutions to meet program requirements while maintaining AS9100 compliance.
  • Must have proven experience in prioritizing competing and demanding priorities to satisfy S&MA requirements.
  • Strong organization, planning, execution and budget management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with customers.

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Mission Assurance Engineer - Level 4 to join our team in Promontory, UT.

The Mission Assurance Engineer (MACE) is responsible for all Safety and Mission Assurance compliance on their assigned Programs. The MACE is accountable to ensure that Safety and Mission Assurance (S&MA) needs are implemented through our systems and will engage across S&MA organizations and into other organizations to assure quality and safety contract requirements are met on time and within budget.

This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
