Job summary

Northrop Grumman Elkton, MD is seeking an experienced Mission Assurance Engineer 2/3 to implement MA plans across proposals, design, manufacturing, integration, and test activities. You will work with NG Mission Assurance staff and cross-functional teams to resolve technical and quality issues to ensure mission success.

The role requires a strong QA/MA background, the ability to read engineering drawings and documents, perform RCCA, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM plus 2 years QA/MA experience or Master’s with relevant experience
• Ability to read engineering documentation, interpret drawings, and develop inspection plans
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality assurance programs and controls.
• Interface with suppliers to verify product quality and reliability.
• Review practices to improve efficiency and reduce risk to quality.
• Perform RCCA and corrective actions on program deficiencies.
• Represent MA in program reviews and boards.
