Responsibilities

• Provide effective solutions against threats and hazards at the state and federal levels by conducting mission assurance assessments per DoDI 3020.45.
• Assess impact of utilities and essential services; trace sources of water, electricity, gas, fuel, food, HVAC, supplies, and waste disposal.
• Assess security operations of sites/assets for threats and vulnerabilities.
• Research, analyze, and develop recommendations on Mission Assurance topics.
• Utilize specialized programs to identify vulnerabilities in DoD/CIKR systems.
• Perform assessments on support systems for UAS threat vulnerabilities.
• Plan and coordinate cross-organizational efforts to develop requirements.
• Monitor ongoing operations and anticipate challenges.
• Develop and instruct training curricula for Civilian-Defense Critical Infrastructure protection.
• Instruct state and local/private sector partners on Mission Assurance best practices.

Mission Assurance Analyst/Assessor

The Mission Assurance Analyst/Assessor shall provide effective solutions against threats and hazards at the state and federal levels of government by conducting mission assurance assessments in accordance with assessment requirements defined in the DoD Mission Assurance Construct (DoDI 3020.45). This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective solutions against threats and hazards at the state and federal levels of government by conducting mission assurance assessments in accordance with assessment requirements defined in the DoD Mission Assurance Construct (DoDI 3020.45).
• Assess the impact of utilities, dependency on external facilities and commodities, transportation and disposal, and other services required. Trace the source of utilities/resources such as water, electric, gas, fuel, food, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, office supplies, sewage, and trash disposal.
• Assess overall security operations of a site or asset to include applicable threats and related vulnerability factors.
• Research, analyze, and develop recommendations on topics related to Mission Assurance and critical infrastructure protection.
• Utilize specialized computer programs to identify vulnerabilities in DoD/CIKR systems.
• Perform assessments on support systems to identify vulnerabilities related to UAS threats.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate efforts across organizational lines, ensuring the progress of requirements development.
• Monitor ongoing operations and anticipate potential challenges.
• Develop and instruct training curricula focused on the protection of Civilian-Defense Critical Infrastructure.
• Instruct state, local, and private sector partners on Mission Assurance best practices across the United States and its territories.

Qualifications

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of Mission Assurance Assessments and the DoD Mission Assurance Construct (DoDI 3020.45).

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years).

Security Clearance Requirements

• Active DOD Secret Clearance.

Other Requirements

• May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Requires ability to consistently perform repetitive tasks including filing and scanning.
• May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time.
• Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings.
• Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
