Job summary

B3H Corporation is seeking a Joint Interface Control Officer to provide program management, planning, engineering, and risk-reduction support at Langley AFB in Hampton, VA. The role focuses on interoperable airborne C2, TDL concepts, and coordination between users and product centers.

The ideal candidate has a DoD background with JCIDS experience, a current security clearance, and five years in JICO planning and multi-TDL networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field.
• 5+ years in program management and multi-TDL architectures.
• 5+ years evaluating operational capabilities for TDL systems.
• 3+ years DoD acquisition and program management experience.
• 3+ years reviewing JCIDS requirements documents.
• 3+ years HHQ staff experience.
• 5+ years JICO experience in planning and managing tactical data link networks.
• Completion of Joint Interoperability training (JT-102/MAJIC, JT-201, JT-301) or service equivalents.
• Current DoD security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Identify factors that affect Airborne C2 interoperability and plan capabilities gaps.
• Evaluate data link concepts, track management, fusion, and data transport to the tactical edge.
• Liaise between operational users and product centers; assist with Advanced TDL concepts and requirements.

Job description

We are recruiting for a Joint Interface Contol Officer, JICO, to provide services to include program management, planning, engineering, technical, and risk reduction support. Position located at Langley AFB, Hampton VA

Responsibilities

• Assist in identification of technical, operational and acquisition factors that impose risk to achieving Airborne C2 integration objectives. Using established techniques, contribute to plans for achieving the goal of an interoperable integrated airborne C2; analyze business processes to accurately characterize capability gaps along with needed capabilities; and identify key performance criteria such as criticality, security, retention, availability, and accessibility.
• Conduct operational feedback, analysis, and technical/operational evaluation of existing and emerging data link concepts and airborne C2 capabilities. These C2 and TDL concepts shall include, track management, correlation, fusion, smart forwarding, and transporting data to/from the tactical edge.
• Employ operational expertise to assist operational users and provide constant liaison between operational users and product centers/program offices. This will include assisting with the development of Advanced TDL concepts and requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, management or other related technical or scientific discipline.
• Five (5) years’ experience in program management (e.g., requirements initiation, test and evaluation, system fielding, operations, logistics and maintenance) processes and procedures; multi-TDL Architecture and multi-TDL Network(s).
• Five (5) years in a position requiring analysis and evaluation of operational capabilities and limitations for technical solutions for TDL systems.
• Five (5) years’ work experience analyzing, developing, and evaluating directives, policies and procedures associated with the modernization and sustainment of TDL Systems, TDL Networks, and
• systems.
• Three (3) years’ experience using and complying with the laws, principles, policies, and practices of DoD systems acquisition and program management.
• Three (3) years’ experience reviewing and drafting JCIDS requirements documents.
• Three (3) years’ higher headquarters (HHQ) (e.g., MAJCOM, NAF, HAF or equivalent) staff experience.
• Five (5) years’ JICO experience planning and managing tactical data link networks. Individual must have completed
• Joint Tactical Operations Interface training, e.g., JT-102 Multi-TDL Advanced Joint Interoperability Course (MAJIC), JT-201 Link 16 Planner Course, JT-301 JICO, or service equivalent.
• Current DoD Security Clearance Required
