Job summary

G2 Ops, Inc. in Dahlgren, VA is seeking a Systems Architecture Engineer to support mission architecture analysis and requirements development for DoD programs at a customer site.

You will collaborate with government stakeholders and engineering teams to create system views, models, and documentation that guide mission planning, integration, and decision-making, while ensuring clear interfaces and ICDs and maintaining DoD Top Secret readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant systems engineering or mission architecture experience.
• Experience with requirements management and system architecture development.
• Ability to create clear system and subsystem requirements, diagrams, models, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a customer-facing team environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support mission architecture analysis for Missile Defense Agency (MDA) related systems and mission environments.
• Develop, review, and maintain system and subsystem requirements.
• Create functional flows, mission activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and related architecture products.
• Support system interface modeling and the development of ICDs.
• Apply modeling techniques, basic analytics, and systems engineering methods to solve customer problems.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, customer representatives, and technical teams to clarify needs and deliver accurate engineering products.
• Communicate technical findings clearly through documentation, reviews, and working sessions.
