Job summary

State of Tennessee in Gallatin, TN is seeking an Intelligence Analyst for the Electronic Monitoring Unit in the JJ Policy & Programs division to locate youth absconded from DCS custody and supervision.

Under general supervision, you will gather and analyze information from NCIC, the TBI Fusion Center, court records, and other sources to locate missing children and support multi-agency information sharing. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
• Full-time experience in intelligence analysis, corrections, criminal justice, law enforcement, probation or parole, case management may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis up to four years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age on the date of application; US citizen; valid driver's license; good moral character; criminal history disclosure; fingerprinting; pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Serves as liaison between the agency, other state departments, law enforcement, courts, and external entities to ensure safe return and placement of children.
• Gathers and collates information on missing children, human trafficking, and related threats; analyzes data to support locating youth.
• Uses NCIC, TBI Fusion Center, court records, and databases; ensures privacy and confidentiality; inputs data into the TFACTS system.
• Works with multi-agency information-sharing initiatives and maintains professional relationships for coordinated efforts.
