Job summary

Stellar Solutions in Aurora, CO seeks a Test Engineer to support development and rapid deployment of Missile Warning capabilities for the U.S. Space Force.

You will lead developmental testing across space, ground, software, and hardware, ensuring verification and readiness for operational testing. Ideal candidates have extensive DT&E experience with Major Defense Acquisition Programs, strong systems engineering foundations, and a proven ability to work with government and industry partners.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years supporting test and evaluation on Major Defense Acquisition Programs.
  • 5+ years supporting Government DT&E programs within a Lead Development Test Organization (LDTO).
  • Experience planning, executing, and reporting DT&E activities for readiness for operational testing.
  • Proven ability to develop TEMPs, STPs, RVPs, and RVRs with test procedures and artifacts.
  • Strong systems engineering foundation: requirements, interfaces, acceptance criteria, TRRs.
  • Experience conducting system-of-systems testing across space-to-ground interfaces.
  • Ability to perform test-data analysis, identify anomalies, and provide actionable findings.
  • Experience working with Government customers, FFRDCs, contractors, and engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of IEEE 15288.1 and 15288.2.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support DT&E activities for space, ground, software, and hardware systems.
  • Plan, execute, analyze, and report test activities for readiness for operational testing.
  • Develop TEMPs, STPs, RVPs, RVRs, test procedures, and artifacts.
  • Translate system requirements into testable objectives and criteria.
  • Conduct system-of-systems testing across interfaces and ICDs.
  • Analyze test data, identify anomalies and risks, and prepare findings.
  • Coordinate across Government customers, contractors, and test organizations.
  • Advise leadership on test strategy and risk.
