Job summary

Moog Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Product Engineering Technician to work on missile control actuation systems, ensuring product integrity and quality across production programs. You will report to the Site Engineering Manager and contribute to engineering documentation and process improvements.

This on-site role follows a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off; ideal candidates have 2+ years in similar roles, an HS diploma or GED, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in a similar role.
• Able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Able to write work instructions and engineering docs.
• Onsite work in Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform engineering tests and inspections of hardware.
• Diagnose performance issues in high-precision electrohydraulic servo components and specify rework.
• Complete data preparation, analysis, and trend evaluation.
• Author production assembly/test documentation (routers, travel cards, work instructions).
• Assist technicians in assembly/test, equipment use, and diagnosing/fixing issues.
• Monitor producibility and drive continuous improvements.
• Act as technical liaison to Project/Engineers and project teams.
• Disposition suspect material and test failures with engineering rationale.
• Provide support to Assembly/Test operations with lead engineer.
