Job summary

This position will be based in Long Beach, CA with plans to operate there starting late 2027, focusing on building world-class quality processes and ensuring compliance with QMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• Experience with missiles or high velocity vehicle systems.
• Knowledge of missile design review and quality management across systems.
• Experience driving quality requirements to test/measurement system development.
• Collaborates with Reliability Engineering, chief engineers, and manufacturing teams.
• FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements including MSA and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and industry standards.
• Strong ownership to drive projects end-to-end.
• Data mining and statistical analysis skills (MatLab, JMP, Minitab).
• Eligible for U.S. TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive missile program product development and production with quality planning and inspection.
• Resolve production ambiguities related to maturity and field performance.
• Lead transition from NPI to scalable manufacturing and supply chain.
• Own elimination of product risk to improve reliability.
• Ensure execution of product and process requirements.
• Lead RCCA and MRB activities and share lessons learned.
• Lead product health data analysis and establish quality metrics.
• Support continual improvement of the QMS and documentation.
• Develop an overall quality plan for missile projects and coordinate internal/external manufacturing qualification.
• Lead supplier quality engineers supporting missile design and development.
