Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer – Level 3/4 to join the Space Systems, MDO, and Missile Defense Integration BU on Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on SE&IT support for SEA and JAT, performing Missile Defense System analyses using data from HWIL and flight tests in a classified environment.

The candidate will develop tools for analytical tasks, ensure tests meet technical intent, and present results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 5+ years of related work experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD
• Sr. Principal Level requires 8+ years with bachelor’s, or 6+ years with Master’s, or 4+ years with PhD
• Ability to travel up to 10% locally for business needs
• Active in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance required to start

Responsibilities

• Develop system-level performance analysis approaches for the Missile Defense System
• Produce analysis results for SEA test reporting and data reviews
• Present analysis results on behalf of the SEA customer
• Collaborate with SE teams, Test Organizations, Warfighters and focal points to ensure tests meet technical intent
• Develop analytical products to assess system-level performance in ground/flight tests
• Perform analysis on all MDS elements focusing on System-Level behaviors
