Job Summary

The Landscaping/Grounds Keeping Supervisor maintains safe and attractive landscaping. Responsibilities are representative and not exhaustive.

Please note: This position is located in Baghdad, Iraq, contingent on award.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe workplace and prioritize safety.
• Comply with Environmental, Safety, and Quality Assurance standards.
• Operate and maintain BAS and PMS systems.
• Represent the contractor, ensuring task requirements are met.
• Manage staff resources and respond to mission needs.
• Plan and oversee projects.
• Monitor resources, staff proficiency, and asset locations.
• Resolve BAS and PMS issues.

Basic Qualifications

• Degree in Landscape Management, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or similar.
• 10 years’ experience in landscaping/groundskeeping.
• 5 years’ experience managing teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Certifications or equivalencies considered, including Master Gardener or NALP certifications.
• US Citizen with a valid US Passport.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain USG security clearance or trust certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in workforce scheduling, international work, and harsh environments.
• Experience in developing countries with limited infrastructure.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
