Engage Community Services is seeking a Moving Home Minnesota Specialist to assist individuals, including those with disabilities or seniors, in locating and maintaining affordable housing in the Twin Cities area. The role focuses on identifying housing barriers and developing targeted goals with clients.

You will advocate for clients to maintain independent housing, coordinate plans, and support lease-term success within a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Must pass a Department of Human Services background check.
• Must be orientated in a person-centered approach.
• Must be able to organize and work independently.
• Must have strong written and oral communication skills and document effectively.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must have a working vehicle with valid auto insurance.
• Applicants must be able to lift 40 lbs or more.

Responsabilités

• Identify barriers that prevent clients from finding and sustaining housing.
• Create a person-centered plan outlining target relocation areas for clients.
• Provide advocacy to help clients sustain independent housing throughout their lease term.
