About the Minnesota Community & Family Resource Network:

The Minnesota Community & Family Resource Network (CFRN) supports the development of Community and Family Resource Centers in Minnesota, based on community needs and driven by community partners with support and collaboration with governmental agencies. The network serves as the backbone entity to leverage and coordinate the collective impact of its members and supports member organizations to provide high quality, culturally relevant services and supports to Minnesota families. The long-term goal is to improve the health, safety, and well-being of Minnesota children and their families. Wilder Research, an independent research division of the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, will transition into this network role over the coming months.

The MN CFRN is a membership-based network comprising over 25 Family Resource Centers in more than 40 counties across Minnesota to-date, focused on strengthening and supporting families based on the nationally recognized Family Resource Center model. Minnesota is a member of the National Family Support Network (NFSN), which includes actively participating in NFSN events, regularly attending Member meetings, and receiving technical assistance from NFSN.

Job duties:

The Community and Family Resource Network Manager serves as a hub for communication, administration, and events for the MN CFRN. The Network Manager plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration, communication, and capacity-building among the network of Family Resource Centers (FRCs). The Manager will work closely with the National Family Support Network (NFSN), FRC staff, partner organizations, and community stakeholders to strengthen the impact and sustainability of the network. Internally, this position will have research and evaluation support from Wilder Research team members, as well as organizational support from information technology, administrative, and communications teams.

This role will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating Community and Family Resource Network meetings and workgroups, initiatives, and events, including participation in NFSN activities; coordinating and supporting membership development; building capacity across the network and supporting training and technical assistance needs; collecting and reporting data, in partnership with Wilder Research; and promoting advocacy and resource development at the local, regional, and state levels. This position also requires in-person meetings with network members and partners across Minnesota as well as periodic travel for national meetings, convening, and conferences.
