Job summary

TWR in Cary, North Carolina, USA seeks a Missionary Ministry Services Director to lead a dynamic team delivering maintenance, lodge, mail, and reception services, while upholding spiritual leadership and safety. Responsibilities

• Supervise Ministry Services personnel and volunteers across maintenance, lodge, mail, and reception.
• Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the Ministry Services team.
• Coordinate regular meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Liaise with staff and executives on maintenance issues and services.
• Develop and manage budgets for Office, Maintenance and Lodge Services.
• Oversee office and lodge safety programs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate events, room setup, HVAC, security, and cleaning.
• Recruit volunteers for Ministry Service or Maintenance as needed.
• Manage maintenance service contracts and contractor relations.
• Ensure emergency support for Ministry Services staff as needed.

Ministry Services Director: Cary, North Carolina, USA

Duties:

• Supervise Ministry Services personnel and volunteers: Including Maintenance Services, Lodge Services, Mail Services and Receptionist Services
• Provide spiritual leadership and guidance for the Ministry Services team
• Coordinate regular departmental and inter-departmental meetings to ensure good communication and effectiveness
• Liaise with staff, peers and department heads, supervisors and executive staff, regional staff and missionaries regarding ministry services and maintenance issues
• Develop and manage Maintenance and Ministry Services budget packages, and process the payment of invoices including contracts for the elevator, utilities, trash and recycling, etc.
• Meeting regularly with department teams: Maintenance, Mail, Lodge, Receptionist, Purchasing, etc.
• Represent TWR in MacGregor Park Owner Association and annual meetings
• Coordinate and facilitate office changes, moves and furniture purchases
• Create, and manage budgets for Offices Services, Maintenance Services and Lodge Services
• Oversee the activities of various departments
• Superintend the activities related to the office and lodge security, preventative maintenance programs, VAC systems, renovation and remodeling, inspection of equipment, grounds maintenance including landscaping
• Manage the office safety program
• Coordinate and program for events and functions including room set up, HVAC set up, building security and cleaning
• Approve and coordinate non-business functions use of our facilities
• Manage maintenance service contracts and repairs
• Emergency assistance for all Ministry Services staff as needed to cover projects, emergencies and absences in Maintenance, Mail, Receptionist and Lodge services and needs
• Fill in, assist, or recruit volunteers for Ministry Service or Maintenance staff when necessary

Experience Requirements:

• Business administration
• Work experience in facilities maintenance and management is helpful
• Familiarity with the economic aspects of maintenance management and budgeting, negotiating contracts with product vendors and hiring personnel
• Have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform general maintenance and operation and service of office equipment
