Job summary

The Hydrogeologist/Water Specialist role focuses on groundwater and surface water management for mining projects. You will conduct hydrogeologic analyses, support water balance planning, and help ensure regulatory alignment across studies and field investigations.

Qualifications

• Degree in hydrogeology or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of hydrogeology experience, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Familiarity with hydrogeologic/hydrologic modeling and regulatory frameworks for mining water management.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrogeologic assessments to support studies and design.
• Compile and interpret groundwater/surface water data.
• Develop or support hydrogeologic models to evaluate site conditions and project scenarios.
• Contribute to water management planning and dewatering strategies.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
