Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Technician to join our team in Carlin, NV. You will assist the Warehouse group with daily tasks including counting, verifying, and inspecting freight, and loading with forklifts.

Focus on accuracy and safety to support mining operations. Responsibilities include data entry, receiving activities, cycle counts, and material staging while adhering to policy and procedures.

Qualifications

• Warehouse background preferred.
• 1 year warehousing experience preferred.
• 12-hour rotating shifts required.
• Underground work may be required.
• Receiving/invoice reconciliation preferred.
• Computer experience required.
• SAP & bar coding experience preferred.
• MS Office knowledge required.
• Must lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Follow verbal and written instructions.
• Interact with a wide variety of people.
• Demonstrate ability to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Count, verify, and inspect freight against documentation.
• Operate forklifts with up to 55,000 lb capacity.
• Record inventory and discrepancies per policy.
• Process receiving paperwork and materials.
• Stage material for dispersal to users.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and housekeeping.
• Perform data entry in computer systems.
• Assist with material identification in the system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
