Job summary

Centerra Gold Inc. seeks a Superintendent, Supply for the Thompson Creek Mine in Idaho. You will lead and optimize procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics to support mining operations while controlling costs and maintaining safety and compliance.

You will develop supply chain strategies, manage supplier relations, and mentor a team of procurement, warehouse, and logistics professionals. A strong background in mining or related heavy industry and a Bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• 12-15 years of supply chain experience; 3-5 years in leadership.
• Mining, oil and gas, or construction industry experience preferred.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Strong leadership and communications skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
• Proficient with MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with operations.
• Ensure availability of equipment, consumables, and spare parts.
• Lead end-to-end procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
• Oversee supplier selection, tendering, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with governance and safety regulations.
• Manage budgets and monitor procurement spend.
• Mentor and develop supply chain teams.
