Job summary

WSP Global Inc. seeks an Experienced Permitting Specialist to join our Mine Environment team in a part-time to full-time role, with a preference for a Nevada location.

You will support permitting and environmental projects across the mining industry, working with senior regulatory specialists on challenging projects and contributing to data analysis, field programs, and technical reporting. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with regulatory compliance and permitting focus.
• 3–10 years of professional experience in natural resources, permitting, consulting or related field.
• Understanding of state and federal mining regulations and NEPA.
• Experience delivering work products in a consulting environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for mining projects: data collection, permitting support, baseline studies, operational support, and remediation.
• Assist in development of proposals for mine permitting projects.
• Manage multiple projects; deliver high-quality reports on time and within budget.
• Design and execute field programs for clients.
• Analyze data, perform technical reviews and ensure data quality.
• Integrate data into environmental assessments, permit applications, and management plans.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Promote a Safety-First mindset; adhere to policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required.
