Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Proposal Manager for Mining & Metals to lead the development of competitive, technically sound proposals for capital studies (FEL1–FEL3), EPCM, and execution engagements.

The role requires hands-on project management experience on mining and metals projects, coordinating input from discipline engineering leads and functions to shape the technical response, scope, and staffing plans for each pursuit.

Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year engineering or technical degree; or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, and visitors.
• Knowledge of project and study management fundamentals (scope, schedule, cost, risk).
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work style.

Responsibilities

• Review RFP/RFQ requirements, define scope, win themes, and strategy.
• Lead development of the technical proposal content and execution plan.
• Coordinate inputs from discipline leads and functional groups to ensure integrated input.
• Develop and defend effort-hour estimates, staffing plans, and cost/schedule basis.
• Establish and manage the proposal schedule and approvals within tight timelines.
