Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an entry-level mechanical engineer to assist with the specification and procurement of large industrial equipment used in hard rock mining.

The role involves designing conveyors, chutes and related equipment and coordinating with multiple disciplines. You will work under a senior engineer, gain hands-on field support experience, and develop proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 1 year engineering experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D design tools (Inventor, Revit).
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Passport or ability to obtain one; EIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of senior engineer.
• Provide calculations and design mechanical equipment including conveyors, chutes, hoppers, bins, tanks, dust collections.
• Specification, analysis and procurement of materials and equipment and maintain equipment lists.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and departments to meet project goals.
