Job summary

M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to design, specify, and procure bulk material handling equipment and piping systems, including grinding mills, crushers, conveyors, and associated ductwork.

You will work under a senior engineer on project execution, perform calculations, develop layouts, isometrics, and assist with supplier evaluations and procurement while coordinating with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant mechanical/piping engineering experience.
• Experience with piping design, layouts, and isometrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project execution under supervision of a senior engineer.
• Perform calculations and design mechanical equipment and piping systems.
• Develop piping layouts, routing, and support designs with other disciplines.
• Prepare specifications and assist with procurement of materials, piping, and equipment.
• Maintain and update equipment and line lists.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to meet project goals.
