Position Overview

We are seeking a Mining Market Sector Lead to spearhead growth and client

engagement within the Mining sector. This strategic leadership role is ideal

for an entrepreneurial and collaborative professional with deep sector

expertise. The ideal candidate will drive business development, establish

and strengthen client relationships, and partner with technical teams to

deliver impactful solutions across Spheros' service lines.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Business Development

Shape and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies aligned with annual Mining

Sector goals.

Identify and secure new opportunities by collaborating across business units

and technical disciplines.

Expand sector opportunities across all Spheros practice areas.

Lead development and achievement of multi-practice projects and sector-wide

sales goals.

Build Spheros' reputation and presence in the Mining sector through

strategic client engagement.

Oversee major sector proposals and establish long-term contracts where

appropriate.

Represent Spheros at industry events and conferences, reinforcing our

thought leadership.

Support marketing initiatives and assist in strategic planning and talent

identification.

Project Leadership

Serve as project lead for select Mining engagements.

Participate in project execution as a subject matter expert, as needed.

Key Qualifications

Deep understanding of environmental needs within the Mining sector.

Established client relationships and a broad network in the industry.

Strong knowledge of Spheros' services (can be developed in role).

Proven success in business development and cross-functional collaboration.

Familiarity with industry regulations, trends, and contracting mechanisms.

Demonstrated leadership in building and managing high-performing teams.

10+ years of relevant experience.

Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
