Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in heavy equipment mechanical/maintenance or related industrial repair
• Ability to read and use schematics
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems, powertrain and engines

Responsibilities

• Safely perform diagnostic, maintenance and repair of heavy equipment (haul trucks, water trucks, dozers, loaders, graders)
• Assist with removal, repair and installation of transmissions, engines and braking systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on machine systems (hydraulic, powertrain, engines)
• Operate equipment such as cranes and forklifts and maintain a safe work area
