Qualifications

• 3+ years of welding and fabrication experienced preferred, with demonstrated proficiency in stick welding and torch cutting
• Basic math proficiency
• Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of basic physics principles
• English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment where all employees contribute to operational success
• Willingness to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and learn or perform a variety of tasks
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain regular attendance
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment functional testing, physical examination, and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on equipment and plant structures to repair or fabricate parts.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain mining equipment such as conveyors and crushers.
• Fabricate and repair plant components like supports and mounts.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for fabrication needs.
• Troubleshoot structural issues and develop repair solutions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operators, and engineers to prioritize work.
• Support preventative maintenance and extend equipment life.
• Provide welding and fabrication support for new construction and modifications.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
