Job summary

CB Mining, a family-owned company based in Washington, PA, is seeking a Shop Technician to support underground mining equipment. The role requires reading electrical/hydraulic schematics, using a multimeter, soldering, and performing repairs with common tools.

Qualifications

Trade school, military, or company-approved experience required.
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Proficiency with multimeters, soldering and basic hand/tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for repair procedures.

Responsibilities

Read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Read and use a multimeter and tape measures.
Solder and desolder components.
Use basic hand tools, power tools, and sandblaster.
Communicate with supervisor.
Create parts lists based on reuse and salvage guidelines.
Analyze test results to locate malfunctions.
Test control circuits and components; conduct functional tests.
Troubleshoot and repair electronic and electro-hydraulic systems for mining equipment.
Work overtime as needed.
