Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our Nevada field crews. The role emphasizes safe production, hands-on equipment operation across multiple machines, and proactive maintenance to support project timelines.

You will work with the foreman and crew, perform pre-operation inspections, and uphold our Turner Values. Flexibility on shifts and travel to supported sites is expected, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• :Willingness to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements
• 1-3 years’ experience in mining / heavy industry preferred
• Working knowledge of safety systems and processes
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to be flexible on daily job duty requirements
• Maintains a positive learning attitude
• Must pass and maintain Turner Mining Group mobile equipment qualifications on listed equipment

Responsibilities

• Work with employees to ensure accuracy and engagement on hazard identification and control
• Engage crews and leadership to define processes that motivate common goals
• Assist with MSHA regulatory task training and verify compliance to standards
• Live the values as part of a visible daily decision-making process
• Assist with training proficiency audits
• Involvement in risk assessment processes at various levels of the organization
• Holds themselves and others accountable for acting like an owner; protect equipment and resources
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for machines and work areas
• Perform quality pre-operation machine inspections and document requirements
