Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Mini Load Picking Lead in Indianapolis, IN 46254 to guide daily Mini Load operations. You will lead a team, pick and pack orders, label products, and ensure timely routing to the Sortation stage.

The role offers shift coverage evenings through weekends with up to 28 hours per week, plus a 401(k) with employer contribution. On-site work at the DC, with safety and sustainability focus.

Formación

• 18 years of age or older.
• Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, operations, or industrial sales.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer operations, including WMS and Microsoft Office.
• Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Organizational, planning and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

SAT SUN 7:30am - 4:00pm
Up to 28 hours/week
OVERVIEW:
Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals to work in our fast pace warehouse! Working as Part-time Mini Load Picking Lead, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the Mini Load Picking department. When an order is placed by a branch you will pick the requested quantity using a small parts automated goods to person system. Then, pack the order, print a label with a routing number and send the product to the next department, Sortation. You will provide guidance to ensure operations are completed correctly, efficiently and on time. RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• o 18 years of age or older
• o Possess prior work experience in warehouse, distribution, operations or industrial sales
• o Proficient written and oral communication skills
• o Knowledge of computer operations, including oper1, WMS and Microsoft Office Applications
• o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
• o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• o Work independently as well as in a team environment
• o Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• o Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• o Prior experience operating a forklift
