Southeast Connections, LLC is seeking a skilled SEC - Mini-Excavator Operator in Suffolk, VA to perform construction and maintenance on gas distribution and underground utilities. The role requires operating backhoes, excavators, plows, trenchers, and bore machines under foreman supervision to install or maintain pipelines.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and strong physical ability; candidates must have a valid driver's license and the potential to obtain a CDL.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
3 years of operating experience.
Valid driver's license with clean record and ability to obtain CDL.
Gas construction experience and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Operate backhoe, excavator, and other equipment for installation, removal, or maintenance of underground utilities and pipe.
Follow foreman directions and safety policies to ensure public and site safety.
Load and transport materials, secure job site at end of shift, and assist with site preparation and cleanup.
Interact with customers and the public in a professional manner while performing duties.
