Job summary

Riot Platforms, Inc. seeks a Miner Maintenance Technician I to join our on-site team at Rockdale, TX. You will diagnose and repair Bitcoin miners, maintain inventory, and support the installation of new machines in our mining operations, while ensuring uptime and reliability in a high-demand data center.

Strong multitasking, problem solving, and attention to detail are essential as you work with network troubleshooting and RJ-45 connections, under supervision and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant experience.
• Experience with Networking and computer troubleshooting preferred.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Miner repair or operator certifications are a plus.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
• On-site duty at Rockdale, TX facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic diagnostic techniques to all miners on-site.

• Assist in keeping inventory of miners, parts, and tools.
• Find IP addresses of all new machines that are being installed into shelves.
• Provide complete information for work orders to be submitted to supervisor.

• Be confident when reciting terminology that is relevant in the industry.

About The Role

We are looking to add a Miner Maintenance Technician 1 to our growing Miner Maintenance Department. As a Miner Maintenance Technician 1, you will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting Bitcoin miners. This on-site position will directly support our miner maintenance operations at our Rockdale, TX location.
