Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with six plus years related experience desirable.
• Advanced user of mine planning software (Deswik preferred).
• Experience in open pit metal mine planning.
• Ability to work in a team environment with geology, engineering and production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
• Development and communication of mine plans and strategies.
• Mentor junior staff and other technical staff as required.
• Ensure short-range plans meet long-range business objectives.
• Coordinate and deliver long range and life of mine plans.
