About the Role Our client, a dynamic and growing force in the mining sector, is seeking an experienced Mine Metallurgist to join their operational team in Welkom . This is an on-site position focused on optimizing the metallurgical processes within the mine to maximize mineral recovery and product quality. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the mineral processing plant, from crushing and grinding to flotation and final product refinement. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of metallurgical principles, advanced analytical skills, and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex processing challenges. This role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the consistent production of high-quality concentrates. You will work closely with plant operators, engineers, and management to implement innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement in our metallurgical operations. Requirements

• Strong knowledge of comminution principles (crushing and grinding).
