Equinox Gold in Imperial County, CA is seeking Mine Maintenance Mechanics to join the Mesquite Mine team. You will maintain and repair mobile mining equipment in an open-pit environment, with safety as a core focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of mechanical experience in a mine setting (preferred).
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mine equipment with guidance.
• English language proficiency (oral and written).
• Pass written and practical exams.
• Boom truck operation certification required prior to advancing.
• Operate service trucks and assist in fueling equipment.
• Able to perform physical tasks and work on uneven surfaces.
• Willingness to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mobile mining equipment in an open-pit environment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues on site.
• Work safely and follow company procedures at Mesquite Mine.
